Katie J. Razin
Ms. Razin has a strong background in the areas of land use and real estate development, zoning and planning, and commercial litigation. She is knowledgeable in local and state zoning principles and has participated in the representation of numerous commercial and residential developers in many aspects of land use development, from the initial project planning stages and throughout the completion of municipal land use board processes. She has also served successfully in the role of counsel to local planning boards. Ms. Razin has worked in the field of outdoor advertising with emphasis on interpretation and review of regulations and legislation. In addition, she has extensive experience in a multitude of litigation arenas, particularly those involving zoning and governmental approval disputes.

Carol Jacoby v. Zoning Board of Adjustment of the Borough of Englewood Cliffs, 442 N.J. Super. 450 (App. Div. 2015), holding that a board reviewing a height variance case is obligated to consider the impact the structure will have on all areas with a view of the structure, not just the immediate surrounding area.
